Liza Oroumieh was born in Almawar, Russia. She moved to Urmia, Iran and married Samson of Abdolah Kandi. They went on to have a total of six children. She lived in Urmia, Masjed, Suleiman and Tehran. She moved to Chicago in 1976 with family, then moved to Turlock in 1983, where she resided until her passing.
She is survived by her children, Jannette Moghadasnia, Shamoun Gabriel, Johnny Oroomieh, David Davidson, Parry Oroumieh and Jonathan Davidson; 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock. A funeral will be held on Friday, April 16 at The Church of the East, Mar Addai Parish in Turlock. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
