Born Lois Wilma Brown in Dardanelle Arkansas. Lois passed away in Turlock, California at the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her parents (John T. Brown and Myrtle Brown), her brothers (Lloyd Brown, Earl Brown, John H. Brown, Bobby Brown) and her sisters (Dorothy Marrs and Hazel Ward) and great granddaughter Morgan Ford. She is survived by her sister Mary Ella Neibling, her son Gary Nuckolls (Sherry), daughter Wilma Ramsey (Rich), Grandchildren Kimberly Taylor (Gary), Robin Ford (Matthew), Shawna Nuckolls and Chad Ramsey (Heather), seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. Lois and her husband relocated to California Central Valley from Arkansas in the 1940’s.  Lois was married to the late Clifton Nuckolls. She found work in the local canneries but her true calling was a homemaker. She was the family Facebook celebrity, storyteller, gracious host and inspiring role-model. She will be remembered for her fierce independence. Visitation will be held from 5 to7pm on Thursday, May 25 at Allen Mortuary.  Services will be at 10:00am Friday, May 26, 2017, also at Allen Mortuary, Turlock, California 247 N. Broadway.
