Bill was born and raised in Turlock.  He graduated from Turlock High School in 1971 and CSU Stanislaus in 1975.  Bill was very active in sports throughout his school years, playing basketball and baseball and later traveling overseas with Athletes in Action and Sports Ambassadors.  Bill was an evangelist for all of his adult life. He started evangelism classes at Monte Vista Chapel and enjoyed teaching Bible studies.  Bill gave generously of himself to others, investing in their lives.  He was a substitute teacher with Turlock School District for many years. 

Bill is survived by his sisters Janice K. (Elton) Nelson, Joy (Marvin) Scott and Lois (Jeremy) Johnson and eight nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Caroline Larson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Gospel for Asia 1116 St. Thomas Way Wills Point, TX 75169 or to the charity of the donors choosing. 

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 3:00-7:00p.m. with a public vigil in the picnic area at Monte Vista Chapel to follow from 7:00p.m.-10:00p.m. also on Wednesday.  

Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00a.m. with a memorial service to follow at Monte Vista Chapel at 11:00a.m.
