Bublak has real solutions for Turlock
quill pen

Dear Editor:
On Nov, 6 citizens of Turlock will have the opportunity to vote for Mayor to determine what type of future Turlock will have. To me the choice for Mayor is obvious. My wife and family and I are voting for Amy Bublak. Amy and her husband Dr. Milton Richards, retired Athletic Director at CSU Stanislaus, love Turlock and have made it their permanent home upon their retirement.
Amy has a long history of public service including: two decades as a retired police officer, three terms as a member of Turlock City Council serving three terms as Vice Mayor, Chair of the Local Agency Foundation Commission and as a member of the Turlock Planning and Arts Commissions.
These experiences, as well as her character, work ethic and love for Turlock make her the right person to meet the challenges our City is facing including: repairing our local roads, bringing jobs to Turlock, rebuilding our police department including addressing the homeless problem and stopping the Mayor’s plan to raise our water rates over two hundred percent.
One solution she has proposed that really shows her understanding of our City’s problems is to create a citizen’s service desk where all residents may go to one person in one place to resolve any issue with City policy in a timely manner. This is indicative of her open door policy in which she makes herself available to meet with any City resident or employee on any Turlock issue.
Amy has also been a true friend to the Sikh community and has offered real solutions to many of the problems facing our City through several videos found on her AmyBublak Facebook.
Please join my wife and family in voting Amy Bublak for Mayor on or before Nov. 6, 2018.
