Campaign signs tell us nothing
Placeholder Image
The forthcoming election has brought out many large and very bright signs for the candidates. Wouldn’t it be nice if Turlock had an ordinance prohibiting the placement of signs before Oct. 1? While the signs make a point, they do not provide information on who the candidates are, their education, background, or their knowledge of the Ed-code of California. What about their positions on those issues not controlled by County and State Educational Codes and policies? And most important , what is the extent of their knowledge of educational finances?
Hopefully, they will have funds available to issue and mail statements on their positions prior to election day.
