Thank you to the voters in Stanislaus County for your confidence and trust in electing me to be your next superintendent of schools. I am humbled by your support and will do my best to serve the students, teachers, and parents in our community.

My pledge to the people of this county, to the 25 separate school districts in our county, to the teachers and staff at our many schools, large and small, is to act thoughtfully, to listen to concerns, and to work in partnership with our districts, our teachers, our administrators, and our parents.

Tom Changnon has been a great superintendent for Stanislaus County Office of Education. I appreciate Tom’s support and his example of service to our county.

I want to give special thanks to my wife, Alison.  She is my best friend and strongest campaign supporter. I also want to thank all the people who campaigned for me and spoke on my behalf. 

I’d like to recognize Shannon Sanford for her efforts in this campaign and wish her well as she continues to lead the Gratton School District.

I look forward to working to ensure that our students are given the best options for success.
