Support for Sweeten
The Turlock Irrigation District is a producer of power for close to a hundred thousand consumers, as well as the supplier of irrigation water. We would urge voters in the upcoming election to look beyond those who would serve a few large farms at the expense of the general public. We urge TID customers in District 5 to cast their vote for Pamela Sweeten.
Read both candidates’ bios and look at supporters for both candidates. We are members of the Merced County Farm Bureau and are voters in TID’s District 5. TID Directors should not have a hidden agenda, but should look to the interests of all of its rate payers.
Pamela is ready to assist TID in adding renewable energy sources and in developing new power sources. She is aware of the upcoming water issues as well as conservation and environmental issues. Pamela Sweeten has the interests of farmers, ranchers and TID residential customers.
We are related to the other candidate, but feel that Pamela Sweeten will look after the interests of her whole constituency, not just large business.
