As I watched the news last week on the Dallas shooting, I was sickened. This is a time for all people of all races to come together. Life matters. Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day, and there are a lot of good officers across America, from every department. I'm very close to one, my son.

I see the hard work and true dedication he has to keep all safe. These men and women need support from every community across this nation. We're all aware of the wrong, but do not blame the true, dedicated officers. We have due process of law, let that do its job.

Speak peace, love and hope. Show kindness, support and respect. Stand together to protect all and stop this violence against all Americans.

My heart breaks for everyone who has lost a loved one during these troubled times.
