A long-time member of the Stan State athletics department as a student-athlete, coach and administrator, Allaire has served on the Stanislaus State Student Affairs Leadership Team as interim director of athletics under Vice President Dr. Christine Erickson since February.

He began his career in athletics administration at Stan State in 2014, serving initially as assistant athletics director for facilities and game operation. He was promoted to associate athletics director for facilities and game operations, and taking on more responsibilities, he was promoted again to senior associate athletics director. He has also served as a lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology since 2008.

"I am extremely appreciative of the opportunity to serve as director of athletics at Stan State. As a student-athlete, coach and administrator, I have seen so many great accomplishments from our student-athletes, and I intend to expand on those and help provide the greatest student-athlete experience possible,” said Allaire.

Prior to his fully administrative roles, Allaire served as Stan State's head assistant baseball coach for 11 years beginning in 2003. The Warriors won a program-record 37 games in 2008 during his tenure on the staff. In 2009, the team was ranked No. 1 nationally by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Stanislaus State baseball saw 47 all-conference players and sent 17 players to play professional baseball while he was on staff. In addition, he has managed game operations for Stan State since 2005, and he stepped in to assist with sports information for two years during a critical vacancy.
"I am extremely appreciative of the opportunity to serve as director of athletics at Stan State" said Allaire. "As a student-athlete, coach and administrator, I have seen so many great accomplishments from our student-athletes, and I intend to expand on those and help provide the greatest student-athlete experience possible.
"I have a great deal of pride for Stan State and our mission and values. I can't wait to continue building ties between the Athletics Department and the local community, as well as partnering with other campus entities in a collaborative effort to provide even greater opportunities for our students. I want to thank President Ellen Junn and Vice President for Student Affairs Christine Erickson for instilling their trust in me and for this amazing opportunity to lead our athletics department to higher levels."
Allaire has served as the sport program administrator for men's golf, men's and women's track and field, and men's and women's cross country, and currently serves as the sport program administrator for women's tennis, softball, baseball, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's soccer. He went on to earn his teaching credential at Chapman University and his Master of Arts in Management with a specialization in leadership from National University. Allaire began his student-athlete career at Stanislaus State in 1997, playing both third base and catcher for the baseball team.
Pre-pandemic, Allaire oversaw a 300% increase in ticket revenue and attendance during a 4-year period. Stan State's athletics facilities are considered among the best in the conference, with Allaire overseeing and leading projects to renovate multiple locker rooms, add video boards, install new bleachers and arena flooring, and upgrade branding, among many other facility improvements. He has hosted 10 conference championships as a tournament director, two NCAA regional championships and one national championship.
