Senior pitcher Andrew Stueve was named to the Division II All-West Region second team on Tuesday by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Stueve, who was an all-conference first-team pick, went 6-2 with a 2.46 ERA in 12 starts.  He threw four complete-games with one shutout. In 95 innings, he struck out 67 batters and allowed just 11 walks while opponents batted just .219 against him. Stueve earned NCBWA Regional pitcher of the week and CCAA pitcher of the week for March 21-27.

The CCAA dominated the All-Region lists with Cal Poly Pomona’s Travis Taijeron named player of the year and UC San Diego's Tim Shibuya picked as pitcher of the year. Dan O'Brien of UC San Diego and Cal Poly Pomona’s Randy Betten were named co-coaches of the year.
