2010 record: 5-2 SL, 6-5 overall

Head coach: Therion Gregory (8th year)

Assistants: Joel Sanders, Scott Taylor, Erick Vangaalen, Scott Gregory, Don Helnore, Bob Moore, Robert Moore, Robert Hodges

Top returners: Bryce Melrose, Brad Tobin, Zak Bailey, Jim Atkinson, James Behrens, Connor Sosa

Top newcomers: Xavier Vallez, Everett Wagner

Outlook: Yes, the Coyotes are shorthanded this season, but having a team roster in the low 20s isn’t anything new for Gregory and his coaching staff. In other words, they’re looking forward to the upcoming season in hopes of returning to the playoffs. Denair welcomes back a strong group of returners, including quarterback Jim Atkinson and defensive staples in Zak Bailey and Brad Tobin. Two varsity newcomers expected to contribute are Xavier Vallez and Everett Wagner. The Coyotes will look to avoid having another losing season, something they experienced twice before last year. Because of low numbers, the Coyotes will have to play on both sides of the ball.
