A woman is facing a charge of commercial burglary after taking bags of purloined merchandise from a Turlock store Friday.
Velma Taylor-Foster entered the CVS store at 3100 Geer Road sometime after midnight on Friday. According to the Turlock Police Department, Taylor-Foster stuffed several bags full of merchandise and then ran out of the store.
Officers were able to get a description of the vehicle she was seen leaving in and shortly before 4 a.m. Friday an officer spotted it and apprehended Taylor-Foster.
The stolen merchandise from the store was located in the car. Taylor-Foster remains in custody at the Stanislaus County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bail.
