The Turlock Police Department received 594 total calls, 445 calls for service and reported 152 officer-initiated calls from Aug. 17-19, 2026.

The department took 52 reports, responded to 12 traffic collisions and made 16 arrests.

Arrests for Aug. 17-19, 2026:

• Joe Ortiz, 55, was arrested on the corner of Geer Road and Hayes Drive on Aug. 17 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Duck Ayotte, 22, was arrested in the 500 block of W. Linwood Avenue on Aug. 17 for giving false ID to the police.
• Karri Armendariz, 55, was arrested in the 1800 block of Lander Avenue on Aug. 17 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and impersonating another to make them liable.
• Amarjit Singh, 33, was arrested i9n the 1900 block of Lander Avenue on Aug. 17 for driving under the influence of a drug and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• John Davis, 48, was arrested in the 1000 block of E. Linwood Avenue on Aug. 17 for possession for sale of a narcotic controlled substance and keeping a place to sell a narcotic controlled substance.
• Desirae Ramirez, 33, was arrested in the 1000 block of E. Linwood Avenue on Aug. 17 for violating a domestic violence court order.
• Timmy Stanley, 35, was arrested in the 4600 block of Colorado Avenue on Aug. 17 for battery of a spouse/ex-spouse and child abuse.
• Francisco Zaragoza, 49, was arrested on the corner of Spruce Street and Vermont Avenue on Aug. 18 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Esau Barajas, 40, was arrested in the 1200 block of Bittern Way on Aug. 18 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
