Drive-by shooting under investigation
emergency

Turlock Police investigators are looking for more information about a drive-by shooting that was reported Monday night.

There were no injuries reported in relation to the shooting.

Shortly before 9 p.m. Monday a woman called the Turlock Police Department and reported she had witnessed one person in a vehicle fire a gun at someone in another car.

The witness described seeing a newer white Chevy Tahoe with 22 rims being followed by a newer gray Honda Civic around the 300 block of N. Front Street. The witness said the front passenger in the Tahoe pointed a gun out the window in the direction of the Civic and fire several shots.

Both vehicles fled from the area. Police officers located two spent 9mm casings in the area, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The only description of the shooter was that it was a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 668-5550.
