A 35-year-old Turlock motorcycle rider was taken into custody during a Thursday evening vehicle stop in Ceres for possession of a stolen gun.
At approximately 8 p.m., while conducting proactive patrol enforcement, Officer Kevin Gallenkamp stopped Fernando Espinoza on his motorcycle for code enforcement violations in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Morgan Road.
Espinoza was found in possession of a firearm reported stolen from Oklahoma, along with a large-capacity magazine.
Espinoza was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of stolen property, carrying a loaded firearm in public, possession of a large capacity magazine, possession of a firearm not registered to him and a misdemeanor warrant.
