The Turlock Police Department received 771 total calls, 572 calls for service and reported 200 officer-initiated calls from July 16-19, 2026.

The department took 69 reports, responded to 25 traffic collisions and made 27 arrests.

Arrests for July 16-19, 2026:

• Edward Souza, 33, was arrested in the 200 block of E. Glenwood Avenue on July 16 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Darlene Azevedo, 36, was arrested in the 200 block of E. Glenwood Avenue on July 16 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
• Israel Hernandez, 33, was arrested in the 700 block of W. Olive Avenue on July 16 for assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
• Cassandra Long, 33, was arrested in the 1000 block of Ashford Drive on July 16 for stalking and trespassing.
• Raymond Cornejo, 53, was arrested in the 3000 block of Countryside Drive on July 16 for shoplifting.
• Roy Mcelroy, 74, was arrested in the 600 block of W. Olive Avenue on July 17 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
• Kayla Bible, 31, was arrested on the corner of Fulkerth Road and Joett Drive on July 17 for driving on a license suspended due to DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol and child abuse by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.
• Sarbjit Singh, 60, was arrested in the 1700 block of Fulkerth Road on July 18 for carrying a concealed dagger.
• Hector Medel, 32, was arrested in the 1100 block of Pedras Road on July 18 for battery of a spouse/ex-spouse and rape by force.
• Austin Wilson, 31, was arrested on the corner of Taylor Court and W. Taylor Road on July 18 for robbery.
• Russell Bartholomew, 64, was arrested in the 900 block of N. Broadway on July 18 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and violation of a court order for domestic violence.
• Alexis Guzman, 23, was arrested in the 900 block of N. Broadway on July 19 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• Charles Roberts, 21, was arrested in the 400 block of E. Main Street on July 19 for disorderly conduct with alcohol and obstructing a peace officer.
• John Flores, 42, was arrested in the 1600 block of Amberwood Lane on July 19 for battery of a spouse/ex-spouse, robbery and false imprisonment.
