Fire fighter victim of auto burglary

Two Turlock men landed in jail Friday morning on the suspicion they broke into a vehicle at the Turlock Rural Fire Department.

The victim of the theft is a volunteer fire fighter and was at the station at 690 W. Canal Dr., when his truck was broken into, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The auto burglary was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. Friday and a short time later the police department had two suspects in custody.

Ruben Davila, 23, and Daniel Davila, 30, were both booked into Stanislaus County Jail on charges of auto burglary.

According to the police department, the two men were found down the street from the fire station with all of the victim’s property stacked up by them while they sat and waited for their ride to come pick them up.
