The Turlock Police Department is searching for the man who robbed a liquor store at gunpoint Sunday night.

The robbery was reported just after 10 p.m. Sunday at Sid’s Oasis at 1570 East Ave.

The suspect entered the store wearing a black ski mask over his face, with a baseball cap on and a raincoat with the hood pulled tight around his face. He also was wearing gloves, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The suspect pointed his gun at the clerk and told him to put all the money from the register into a bag.

The suspect fled the store on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of money, Lewis said.

The suspect was described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing around 150 to 160 pounds.

The two employees in the store were not harmed during the encounter.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Officer Katie Manica at 668-5550 ext. 6732.
