Home invasion robbery reported in Turlock

A man was the victim of a home invasion robbery Tuesday night after two men forced their way into his Turlock residence.

The robbery occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Lane Street.

The victim, who was not injured in the incident, told the officer two unknown Hispanic men knocked on his door and then forced their way inside the home, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

One suspect was armed with a knife and the other was armed with a club. They took the victim’s cell phone and other property before leaving the area on foot, Lewis said.

A search of the area was conducted, but the suspects were not located.
