Three people were arrested on drug and theft charges by Turlock Police officers after a witness to a theft snapped a picture of the suspect’s license plate.

Around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday an individual saw a woman stealing items from the Arco AM/PM store at 210 N. Golden State Blvd. The witness took a picture of the license plate on the car the thief was seen fleeing in.

The license plate led officers to a home in the 500 block of Lori Court. Several of the occupants at the home were on active probation and were subject to searches, the police department reported.

At the home the officers made contact with Sara Hernandez, 37, who was identified as the suspected thief. She was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary.

Also at the home were Holly Faucett, 27, and William Hanson, 28. Faucett, who was on probation, was arrested for illegal possession of methadone. Hanson, who also was on probation, was found in illegal possession of prescription narcotics and also was arrested.
