A man found sleeping in his car was arrested on multiple narcotics charges after he was found in possession of heroin and methamphetamine.
Just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, Turlock Police officers made contact with Manuel Martinez, 46. Martinez was asleep in his car in the 800 block of Emily Street at the time.
Martinez was on searchable probation at the time, according to the police report. A search revealed him in possession of heroin.
Martinez was arrested and taken to the Stanislaus County Jail. At the jail it was discovered he had hidden methamphetamine in his shoe.
Martinez was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
