The Turlock Police Department is investigating a shooting at Crane Park that left one man injured.

The victim was wounded in his arm and was treated at Emanuel Medical Center, according to the police report.

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. Thursday.

The victim said he was walking through the park when he was approached by an unknown man.

The victim stated he was confronted by the suspect, who pulled out a handgun and shot him in the arm, before fleeing into the night.

The victim called a friend who took him to the hospital and the victim contacted the police.

The suspect was described as an 18- to 19-year-old man. He was wearing an orange, teal, and white hoodie and blue jeans.
