One hurt in DUI crash

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after he started a chain reaction of vehicle collisions that left one person with a broken bone.

The collisions happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Monte Vista Avenue and Geer Road, the Turlock Police Department reported.

Ritchie Rocha, 50, allegedly struck one vehicle, which sent it into another vehicle, according to the police report.

One person in the second vehicle suffered a broken collarbone.

Rocha was found heavily intoxicated at the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.
