A security guard working at a Turlock apartment complex was the victim of an armed robbery on Tuesday.

The security guard was not injured in the robbery, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The robbery happened shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of N. Tully Road.

The robber pulled a gun on the security guard and held him at gunpoint while taking his personal property, including his cell phone.

The robber fled the area on foot and was not located. He was described as a Hispanic adult male wearing dark clothing and standing about 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
