Sheriff to discuss human trafficking

Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson will be discussing the issue of human trafficking at the First Presbyterian Church in Turlock on Sunday.

Christianson will be at the church at 6 p.m. to address the local and global implications of human trafficking. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The Polaris Project, an organization dedicated to ending human trafficking, estimated that millions of people around the world and the United States are victims of human trafficking.

The church is located at 2619 N. Berkeley Ave. The presentation will be in Voight Hall.
