The Turlock Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left one man hospitalized.

The incident was reported at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Del's Lane. Investigators have not yet determined if that was where the stabbing occurred or if it just was where the victim was located.

The first officers to arrive at the scene found a 38-year-old man with a single stab wound to his torso, according to the police department. Officers rendered first-aid until emergency medical technicians arrived.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for what was described by the police department as a non-life-threatening injury.

A suspect has not been identified and at this time it is unknown what led up to the stabbing.

The incident remains under investigation.
