Two women walking home from a high school football game were robbed at gunpoint Friday night in Turlock.
The women, one 19-year old and the other 21-years-old, were not injured in the robbery, said Turlock Police Sgt. Stephen Webb.
The women were walking in the 2400 block of N. Olive Avenue shortly before midnight when a red Honda pulled up in front of them.
A man jumped out of the Honda and pointed a chrome handgun at the women and yelled “give me your purses (expletive),” Webb said.
The two women threw their purses to the ground and the suspect scooped them up and then jumped back into the car and sped away.
The robber was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s with a shaved head, except for a braid at the base of his skull. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.
There was no description available for the driver and no further description of the Honda.
Webb said the Turlock Police Department has not received any similar reports matching the robbery.
