A fight at a Turlock park resulted in the arrest of a man after he allegedly attacked one individual with a glass bottle and another with a car jack, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The fight was reported around 8 p.m. Saturday at Donnelly Park, in the area of the skate park.

It’s unknown what prompted the fight to turn physical. Several people were involved in the altercation and at one point, Dorian Beckham, 25, struck a victim with a glass bottle, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Russ Holeman.

Beckham then allegedly left the fight and went to his vehicle, where he got a car jack and then returned to the fight and used the car jack to assault a second individual, Holeman said.

Beckham had fled the park prior to the arrival of Turlock police officers. As officers were interviewing individuals at the scene Beckham drove by and was identified as the attacker, Holeman said.

Beckham was stopped by officers and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
