Vandalism reported throughout Turlock

The Turlock Police Department is investigating a rash of vandalism that resulted in broken car windows in several spots around town.

The vandalism occurred sometime between late Wednesday and early Thursday morning with the majority of the broken windows reported on W. Springer Avenue, though others were reported in other spots around town, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

As of Thursday afternoon the police department had taken 12 reports of damaged property.

Police believe the damage was caused by someone armed with a BB gun.
