A woman was seriously injured Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Turlock.

The vehicle fled after hitting the woman and the Turlock Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect.

The 33-year-old woman was hit while walking on S. Washington Road, near W. Main Street, and the railroad tracks. It happened around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman was found with life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
