The Turlock Senior Center will host its 3rd annual Hot Dogs and Hot Rods event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Turlock Senior Center, 1191 Cahill St.

Hot Dogs and Hot Rods: The Turlock Senior Center will host its 3rd annual Hot Dogs and Hot Rods event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Turlock Senior Center, 1191 Cahill St. The event will include vintage cars, raffle prizes, root beer floats, an Elvis impersonator, and, of course, hot dogs. Cost is $5 per person.

Carnegie Block Party: The Carnegie Arts Center will host its annual Block Party from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The event will include live music, local art and community connections. This event is free and open to the public. The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.

Sip and Stroll: The 3rd annual Downtown Turlock Sip and Stroll will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Breweries/ wineries featured include Prie, Marcella's, Black Orchid, Dust Bowl, Blaker, Persuasion, Five Eye, Lumberyard, Berryhill, Toscanas and Brethren. Latino Heritage Celebration: A Latino Heritage and Culture celebration will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature traditional dancing, music, food and art.

Grease: Modesto Performing Arts will present summer classic “Grease” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gallo Center for the Arts in downtown Modesto. For tickets, visit galloarts.org or call 209-338-2100.
