The annual Assyrian Festival will once again celebrate its rich traditions at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. The 2025 Assyrian Festival, set for Sept. 13 and 14, will strive to make a lasting impression by immersing the community in the “culture that started it all.”

Opening ceremony will be at 12 noon on Sept. 13 with recognition from local dignitaries. Hosted by the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, the festival will guarantee an authentic cultural experience for each guest with homemade food from the local Assyrian community, which will be made using family recipes that have been passed down for generations.

The 2025 Assyrian Festival will feature games and educational projects for kids as well as live Assyrian cultural music, exhibits, traditional Assyrian food, and the Assyrian dance groups.
