Firefighters responding to a structure fire on the outskirts of Turlock located a deceased man in a mobile home.

The Turlock Rural Fire Department was dispatched early Sunday morning to a fire in a mobile home on N. Prairie Flower Road.

As crews fought the flames outside and inside, a search of the home led to the discovery of the body. The deceased was later removed from the home with the assistance of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.

The sheriff’s department said there was no indication of foul play. An autopsy is being conducted.

The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time. The deceased was male.

The incident was classified as a two-alarm fire. The cause and point of origin of the fire is under investigation by the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit.
