Turlock Police Chief Rob Jackson and Fire Chief Tim Lohman are hoping the public would like to have a chat over coffee.

The two chiefs will be hosting a series of “Coffee with the Chiefs.” The first is scheduled for 7 a.m. Nov. 21 at Latif’s Restaurant at 111 N. Golden State Blvd.

The purpose of “Coffee with the Chiefs” is not only to meet the chiefs, but also to provide an opportunity for Turlock residents to ask questions about the police and fire departments. The goal of both chiefs is to always be up to date with current events that may adversely affect the relationship between the community and the departments. 

Additional coffee chats are set for Dec. 19 at IHop; Jan. 16, 2014 at Denny’s; Feb. 20, 2014 at Huckleberry’s; March 20, 2014 at Perko’s; and April 17, 2014 at AJ’s.
