A 33-year-old Denair man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a tractor along Santa Fe Drive.

Ryan Gerard Scott was killed Feb. 7 at the scene of the accident. The California Highway Patrol report on the collision was not released until Tuesday.

Scott was traveling westbound on Santa Fe Drive on his 1990 Honda motorcycle around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 7.

In front of Scott was a Kubota tractor being driven by Sergio Tinoco, 57, of Winton.

Both vehicles were approaching Lombardy Avenue when Scott attempted to pass the slow moving tractor. At the same time Tinoco was turning the tractor left onto Lombardy Avenue, according to the CHP.

The motorcycle collided with the left side of the tractor.

Scott was wearing a helmet, however the injuries he suffered were severe and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP reported.

Tinoco was not injured in the crash.

Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
