Turlock Mayor Amy Bublak will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of the League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County.
Bublak will talk about her experiences as a new mayor and Turlock’s future challenges. She will also answer questions from the audience. Bublak became Turlock’s first female mayor — and the first police officer to hold the office — when she was elected in November 2018.
Bublak was first elected to the Turlock City Council in 2008 and served two full terms and a partial term as a member of City Council representing District 4. She has lived in Turlock for over 30 years. Bublak earned B.S from Stanislaus State and a Masters of Public Administration degree from San Francisco State University.
