Turlock residents battled the heat Tuesday evening to gather together in unity during the city’s annual celebration of National Night Out. Thirty-one neighborhood parties registered for this year’s event, designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anticrime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
