Turlock motorcyclist killed in collision with SUV
emergency

A collision Tuesday morning between an SUV and a motorcycle resulted in the death of a Turlock man, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The deceased was identified as Ryan Bolz, 44, of Turlock.

The collision happened around 7 a.m. Tuesday on Albers Road, north of Yosemite Boulevard.

Bolz was driving a 2007 Suzuki south on Albers Road and Logan Prasher, 25, of Oakdale was driving a 2012 Chevrolet SUV in the northbound lanes.

According to the CHP, Prasher was in the center turn lane to turn left. He began the turn, moving across the southbound lane, directly in front of Bolz.

The Suzuki struck the SUV on the right side and the force of the impact ejected Bolz off the motorcycle.

Bolz was rushed to Memorial Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. He had been wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

Prasher was not injured, according to the CHP.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash.
