Adriana A. Alkala, 56, of Turlock passed away on Dec. 25, 2010 in Hughson.

She was born in Clint, Texas and was a bus driver for 17 years. She enjoyed crafts, reading, and loved her animals and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Gloria Perez; sons, Sergeo Perez of Modesto, Cesar Cardenas and his wife, Lynalda of Turlock and Osbaldo Cardenas of Hayward; brother, Hector Valdez of Bakersfield; sister, Sylvia Morales of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cesar and Angel Cardenas of Turlock and Brianna Cardenas and Alyssa Cardenas of Dublin.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8 at New Life Christian Center, 2918 W. Tuolumne Rd., Turlock. It will be officiated by Pastor David Larson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
