Al (Skip) Carlyle Baimbridge
July 21, 1928 - June 3, 2022

Al (Skip) Carlyle Baimbridge went to be with his heavenly father on June 3rd, 2022, at the age of 93.  Al was born to Margaret and Elihu Baimbridge on July 21st, 1928, in Los Angeles, Ca. Al was a graduate of Washington High School in Los Angeles, class 1946, and soon after began his career in sheet metal. 

Al had a love of fast cars & boats, which earned him many trophies through the years. He also was a natural craftsman and started his sheet metal career at the age of 14, which later became Baimbridge Sheet Metal in Hilmar, Ca. Al resided in Hilmar for over 50 years and was a well-respected pillar in the community. Al had a passion for trains, Frank Moreno pottery, and sharing his many life stories from years past. His love and faith in the Lord never wavered and he was truly one of a kind.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia Baimbridge, sister Carolyn Baimbridge-Sinsley and children, Robert Baimbridge, Janet Schmitt, Deborah Raymond, Steven Baimbridge, and stepdaughters Paula Cunha, Pamela Williams, Priscella Douglas, and Penny McCombs. He was the best grandfather and friend to many. Al was cherished by his family and friends and is already dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 10:00 am at Hilmar Cemetery. Please join us in honoring our beloved Al and his legacy he leaves behind.
