Bertha Lilia Melchor, 36, of Turlock, passed away on March 24 in Turlock.

She was born on May 12, 1974 in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. She was a cashier for Dolex Money Transfer for 10 years and attended Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock.

She is survived by husband of 10 years, Rogelio Melchor of Turlock; parents, Salvador Ruiz Farfan and Ma Bertha Cordoba of Mexico; son, Rogelio Melchor, Jr. of Turlock; daughter, Jessica Melchor of Turlock; brothers, Salvador Ruiz and Alberto Ruiz, both of Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico; sister, Maria Ruiz of Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico; and grandparents, Salvador Ruiz-Mosqueda of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and Melecio Cordova Ibarra and Piedad Farfan Ceja of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main St., Turlock. Burial will be at private.
