Carla Cooper, 61, of Turlock, died Oct. 27 in Turlock. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Linda Vista Presbyterian Church, 2130 Ulric St., San Diego. Burial will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Carla was a librarian technician for nine years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Turlock. She enjoyed swimming and as a teenager, she was on a water ballet team. She loved crocheting and visiting with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, George L. Cooper of Turlock; mother, Altha J. Butherus of Costa Mesa; son, Daniel R. Cooper of Turlock; daughter, Kelly J. Cooper of Newport Beach; and sisters, Cynthia Butherus of Costa Mesa and Karen Butherus of New Mexico.
