Earlie Lorene Nunn, 95, passed away peacefully Feb. 3 at the Bel Air Lodge in Turlock. Earlie was born in January 1915 to the late George and Sena Deckard in Missouri. She moved to Turlock in 1935. She loved to garden, and she enjoyed fishing and quilting. She also loved cooking and would always have her family try a new recipe.
She is survived by her children, Freda Gilliam of Visalia, Deanna Rangel of Turlock, Doris Dias of Turlock, Barbara West of Delhi, Sharon Painter of Oroville and Judy Smith of Newman; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Nunn; son, Ronald Nunn; sisters, Daisy Coon and Dena Brazil; and brothers, William and John Deckard.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 at Allen Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, also at Allen Mortuary.
