Gloria Green, 62, of Modesto, passed away on October 2nd at her home surrounded by family and close friends after a short battle with cancer. Gloria was born in Merced, CA to Felicitas Buelna and Manuel Munoz. She was married to Audie Green for 25 years in Modesto where they raised their family. 

Gloria worked for the Stanislaus County Superior Court in Modesto, CA where she formed many enduring friendships. She was a beautiful soul with a selfless heart who loved helping others in any way she could; cooking for others, cracking jokes, and supporting her family. Her warm, vivacious spirit and contagious laugh always made others happy. Gloria is best remembered for her love of dancing and music, comedic spirit, tasteful cooking skills, and her bubbly personality.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her four children: Felicia Soria of Hayward, Isaac Soria of San Leandro, Camisha Green of San Francisco, and Serena Green of Los Angeles; four siblings: Manuel Calderon of Merced, Lupe Mims of Turlock, Carol Prather of Turlock, and Alice Nush of Merced;  two grandchildren: Shoshana Soria and Levi Soria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Gloria will be held on Friday, October 7th at Apostolic Tabernacle, 2740 CA-140 in Merced. Visitation will begin at 10am followed by a Funeral Service at 11am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Merced. Friends are welcome to leave memories and condolences for the family in the guestbook at the church entrance and/or at www.allenmortuary.com.
