Henry George Trost, beloved husband of Barbara and amazing father to Amy Nichole passed away at home on Sunday with his loving wife by his side.  Born in Modesto, CA, Henry was a building and electrical contractor for 40 years building custom homes and was an extremely hard worker and a very practical person.  When Amy was a Girl Scout Henry was her assistant troop leader “PaPa Bear” for many years. Henry raced Class 1 Single Seat off road cars for over 10 years and he could “Fix” anything as he always could figure out how something worked.  Fixing watches and clocks was a favorite pastime for Henry.  He loved the big redwoods on Hwy 1 and the Sierras.  Fishing and camping were other favorite pastimes.  Most of all, family was very important to Henry and in lieu of flowers he would want everyone to do something fun with their family. Henry is survived by his wife Barbara of 45 years, daughter Amy Nichole and sister Joanne McGuire.  Henry was preceded in death by his parents Vern and Clara Trost.
