Henry J. DeBoer, 71 of Turlock, passed away peacefully on Dec. 8 at his residence. He was born in January 1939, in Meadville, Penn. to the late Henry and Dorothy DeBoer. He was raised in Wisconsin. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963 and was stationed at Castle Air Force Base. He settled in Turlock in 1972, and was a real estate broker for over 36 years. He belonged to the Kiwanis Club, SIRS and the First United Methodist Church. Henry enjoyed golfing and loved flying planes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alta DeBoer; daughter, Margaret DeBoer and son-in-law Mark Kollmeyer; brothers, David (Lyn) DeBoer and Scott (Julie) DeBoer; sisters, Mary Kay (Larry) Allen and Debbie (Jim) Vlasic; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Blevins; and grandchild, Brandy.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17 at First United Methodist Church in Turlock.
