James “Jim” Marion Turnbull, 78 years, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice in Hughson, California on February 13th, 2018. Jim was surrounded by his family and loved one. Jims is survived by his wife Sharon Reeves-Turnbull, daughters Maliece Turnbull-Panella, Jamie Turnbull-Hassett, son’s Todd Holley and Travis Holley. Jim was the proud grandparent of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Jim was proceeded in death by his mother Ivy M. Scott-Turnbull, father Marion C. Turnbull, and siblings George, Aci, JC Turnbull and Grace Turnbull-Ainslie. Jim was born on October 13th, 1939 in Slick, Oklahoma to Marion and Ivy Turnbull. Jim graduated from Ceres High School in 1958 as multi-talented sports lettermen. Jim married Sharon Reeves-Turnbull, his soul mate and wife of 43 years. Jim’s family and loved ones remember him as a funny, kind, patient and big hearted father and grandfather who was the families’ rock and anchor. Jim had a passion for humor and had an endless supply of jokes and laughs. Jim was accomplished Masonry Contractor, Fabricator, Welder, and a prime example of pure talent. Jim owned and operated Turnbull Masonry for over 40 years which built multiple structures throughout the state of California which are still standing today. Jim was immensely passionate about his friends and family and always made them smile. Jim was a Sand Rail Association Member, Dirt Bike Association Member and a long term member of the Lake McClure House Boat Association. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel. A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at Jim and Sharon’s home. All are welcome to attended and celebrate Jim’s amazing life.
