Janet was born in Washington to John and Betty Fisher and passed away at the age of 74 in Patterson.  Family was most important to her and she treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren.  She worked at Emanuel Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant for most of her career.  Janet loved playing bingo and most often played at Ranch Bingo in Modesto.  She also enjoyed football and was an avid 49ers fan.  

Janet is survived by her children John (Lori) Silva, Jeff Silva, Jeanine Asher, Jane Silva, Josie (Joe) Sousa, James Silva and Lori (Charlie) Myers; brother Jerry Fisher; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jack Fisher; daughter in law Denise Silva and three grandchildren Johnny Thomas Silva III, Summer Dannette Shaw and Courtney Lynn Silva.  Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 4:00-7:00p.m.  Funeral services will also be at Allen Mortuary on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1:00p.m.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com.
