Joani was preceded in death by her father and her son Justin Neal. She is survived by her mother Yvonne Neal of Delhi; her children: Shannon (Corey) Casey of Copperopolis, Jamie Neal of Turlock, Joshua (Natalie) Neal of Turlock, and daughter-in-law Shawntay Coyle; siblings: Janet (Lee) Browning of Delhi, Larry (Lora) Neal of Delhi, Karin Waldon of Denair; and 11 grandchildren.

Joan’s family is requesting any family members and friends that are able to help by making donations to Allen Mortuary to help offset the costs of funeral and burial expenses.
