Born July 19, 1929 in Turlock California, he passed on May 2, 2015.  He attended Tegner Elementary and was a graduate of Turlock High School.  As a young man he owned a hay hauling business with his brother.  He married Lorraine Lewis in 1954, and remained happily married for 61 years.  He later worked in construction and in 1976 he began JF Medeiros dairy construction company with his sons.  He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church of Turlock and a member of YMI of Hilmar.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and large family gatherings.

He is survived by his five children, John of Rohnert Park, Steve (Carrie) of Hilmar, Scott (Gracie) of Turlock, Lori (Ron) Rowe of Turlock, and Dennis (Vickie) of Turlock, and fifteen grand children and four great grand children.  His is survived by his sisters Margaret Nail and Lucille Lemas both of Turlock.   Proceeded in death by his brothers, Manuel and Gilbert and sister Angelina Cabral.

Visitation will begin at 4pm at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Rosary to be held at Allen Mortuary at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2015.  The Catholic Mass will be at Sacred Heart Church at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2015 with burial following at Turlock Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the Medeiros family wishes that donations be made to Sacred Heart Church of Turlock or Emanuel Hospice.
